St. Paul police responded to numerous 911 calls just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, reporting gunfire and suspicious vehicular activity along Wilson Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, officers encountered an abandoned vehicle on the 1300 block of Wilson Avenue East, indicating a possible collision. Meanwhile, about a mile away on Minnehaha Avenue, law enforcement observed a car driving erratically and intervened, discovering within it a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
