Britney Spears confused some followers Monday by posting on Instagram that she’s pregnant and seemingly married, less than five months after her conservatorship ended.
“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back,” Monday, the pop diva wrote in part, with a photo of flowers and a cup of coffee. “I thought ”Geez … what happened to my stomach???” he said “No you’re food pregnant silly!!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby. …”
“I definitely won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money photo of me as they sadly already have,” Spears said, using a variety of emojis to avoid naming her lover Sam Asghari as the “husband.”
While others complimented Spears, including Paris Hilton.
On Monday evening, Asghari shared his own Instagram post, which included a painting of a three-membered lion family.
“Marriage and children are a natural component of a strong, loving, and respectful partnership. I’ve always wanted to be a father, and it’s not something I take lightly. He wrote, “This is the most important job I will ever have.”
Spears has previously spoken about perinatal depression, calling it “absolutely horrific” and said she’s encouraged that the disease is discussed more openly among women now than it was when she had her kids, ages 15 and 16, in the past. Kevin Federline, her ex, shares the adolescent years with her.
“Some people thought it was hazardous if a lady moaned like that with a baby inside her,” she claimed. But nowadays, ladies talk about it all the time… Thank God, we don’t have to keep that agony a closely guarded secret any more… I’m going to do yoga every day this time!!! I’m spreading a lot of happiness and love!!!”
Spears, 40, has stated that she yearned for a child with Asghari, 28, a personal trainer, but that her almost 14-year conservatorship compelled her to stay on birth control.
In 2016, they met on the production of her “Slumber Party” video.
Spears’ spokesperson did not respond to multiple email attempts for confirmation on Monday.
