West Park Man Accused of Sexually Battering Woman in His Car

According to court documents, an 18-year-old West Park man is charged with sexual violence after allegedly enticing a female companion into his vehicle and abusing her.

According to the arrest complaint, Anthony Arancibia planned to meet the lady at the Upper Deck Ale & Sports Grille at 906 East Hallandale Beach Boulevard at 3 p.m. on Monday.

The lady and Arancibia had been friends for roughly two years. They parked behind the restaurant when she came, and Arancibia gave her some food. Before transferring to his black 2015 Infiniti that was parked nearby, they reportedly ate and spoke in her vehicle.

On the woman’s mobile, they began watching a movie, and during a sex scene, Arancibia began to caress the woman’s back. She pulled him away, he grabbed her vehicle keys as she reached for them, and then, according to the complaint, he shoved her face down into his lap.

Then, after forcibly stripping her of her clothing, he placed a condom on her and sexually assaulted her. According to authorities, she went back to her vehicle and started driving after he urged her to get out of his car around 90 seconds later.

She subsequently reported the assault, recognized Arancibia from a line-up of photos, and he was taken into custody shortly before one o’clock on Tuesday. According to documents, he was charged with sexual violence and released from the Broward County Jail Tuesday night after posting a $15,000 bail.
