After a man with terrible injuries was discovered and later passed away, two individuals were detained on suspicion of murder.
On Wednesday, Merseyside Police said that Leroy Venner, 53, of Toxteth, had been found at a residence on Belmont Drive in Anfield, Liverpool.
He was rushed to the hospital, according to the police, but died shortly after. A post-mortem study was scheduled to determine the cause of death.
Two guys, 43 and 60, were allegedly being held, according to a spokeswoman.
He said that Mr. Venner’s relatives had been notified.
Det Ch Insp Mike Dalton called for witnesses, describing the event as “a horrific occurrence in where a guy has regrettably lost his life.”
He stated that anyone in the Belmont Drive vicinity on Wednesday between 12:00 and 16:00 BST was asked to contact the police.
