Three Men Injured in Shootings Across St. Paul

On Thursday afternoon in St. Paul, three men were shot and injured in two different instances.

Around 12:55 p.m., police responded to reports of numerous shots fired on University Avenue near Arundel Street and established a perimeter. According to Steve Linders, a police spokesperson, officers also rushed to Regions Hospital, where two males in their early 20s arrived with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

According to witnesses and evidence at the site, many guys were approaching a structure when bullets were fired, scattering everyone, Linders said. The area was examined, but no suspects were found.

A car arrived at Regions at around 1:20 p.m. with a guy who had been hurt in a gunshot in the 500 block of East Minnehaha Avenue. According to Linders, it happened when customers went to buy wireless earbuds from someone who had 15 cartons of fresh sets.

“The would-be vendor had several persons with him,” Linders added, one of whom had a pistol and tried to rob the purchasers, with one of them, a man in his 20s, being wounded in the arm. No one was arrested right away.
