Three Burglary Suspects Accused of Dania Beach Business Break-in

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, three males left Miami-Dade County and proceeded to Dania Beach in order to rob a store of products valued at $50,000 in the middle of the night.

According to court documents, Jose Carlos Solano-Montelier, 33, Lazaro Horta, 31, and Yusniel Cervantes, 28, are charged with burglary without a weapon, grand theft, and wearing masks while conducting a crime.

All three were detained in the Broward County Jail after being picked up in Dania Beach at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Eric Linder, an associate state attorney for Broward, said they collaborated as a team during their initial court appearances on Thursday.

He declared, “This was obviously a planned offense.” To break into this particular shop at Dania [Beach] in the middle of the night, [the] people came there from [Miami] Dade County.

Linder informed the judge that the loss’s worth may increase.

The amount might exceed $50,000, he added, “given that there was further material stolen that hasn’t been accounted for.”

According to documents, Horta and Cervantes are being detained without bond for immigration officials while Solano-bond Montelier’s was set at $15,500.
