In a tragic incident that shook the community, a St. Paul man has been charged with murder in connection to a shooting that occurred near a tobacco shop.
According to the authorities, the incident took place on February 18th, 2023, at around 9 pm. The victim, identified as a 25-year-old man, was standing outside a tobacco shop located on the 300 block of University Avenue West when he was shot multiple times.
The victim was rushed to Regions Hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after. The police launched an immediate investigation and were able to identify the suspect through surveillance footage and witness accounts.
