Police are looking for up to three persons who they believe broke into automobiles in a Pembroke Pines area on Monday.
Initially, Pembroke Pines Police issued a warning to residents of the Pelican Trace neighborhood, which is situated on Northwest 142nd Avenue just north of Pines Boulevard, advising them to remain inside their houses.
Three persons are suspected of breaking into automobiles in these events, one of them may have been armed, according to police, who withheld more information.
Officers started to evacuate the area just before 8 a.m. and advised the locals it was okay to leave their houses.
