U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger stated Wednesday that a Maplewood man acknowledged in federal court to illegally possessing a pipe bomb.
Wednesday, 28-year-old Dylan Raymond Orr pled guilty to one count of possession of an unregistered destructive device.
A sentencing hearing has not been set as of yet.
According to officials, investigators obtained photographs of two pipe bombs transmitted from Orr’s phone to a third party.
According to officials, two six-inch pipes were discovered during a search of Orr’s apartment on April 28.
According to officials, one pipe had BBs, four end caps, and explosive powder, which could be readily transformed into a bomb.
As required by law, the items were not registered with National Firearms Registration, according to authorities.
