According to the Mounds View Police Department, a pedestrian was killed in a deadly hit-and-run collision in Mounds View on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the 8200 block of Long Lake Road at 1:17 p.m. to investigate the incident. The pedestrian had died by the time they arrived. They acquired a description of the suspect car after interrogating witnesses, which they traced down to another collision in a nearby city.
The driver was apprehended by authorities. The charges are still pending.
