He entered the massage parlor pretending to be a client but left when the employee collapsed on the floor and began screaming, according to Margate Police.
Inquiring about the cost of a session, Anthony Dana Banks, 22, visited the Asian Massage Parlor at 632 State Road 7 on Thursday, according to the police.
The police report states that Banks then approached the employee from behind the counter while brandishing a pink stun gun and placing his palm over his mouth.
According to the story, she begged Banks not to injure her by telling him she would give him money and that she had a daughter.
According to authorities, the employee paid Banks $61 in the hopes that he would go, but instead of doing so, he seized her and dragged her to the rear of the store where he demanded that she remove her clothes.
Instead, the woman flung herself on the ground and yelled for assistance. According to authorities, that startled Banks, who then fled out the front door and across the street from Forrest Plaza to the Applegreen apartment building.
Soon after, following a brief foot pursuit, Banks was taken into custody. The security camera footage from the massage parlor showed Banks entering the establishment, according to the report, and the employee recognized Banks there.
Banks was accused of engaging in armed robbery, resisting arrest, and wrongful detention. According to documents, he was freed from the Broward County Jail on Saturday after posting a $10,000 bail.
