This weekend’s “Summer Streets” festivities in Maplewood include outdoor eating and the regular Saturday night entertainment. At the Springfield Avenue Gazebo, a different Friday concert series begins the next month.
This weekend, there are also more activities and events sponsored by the municipality, including ones honoring Pride Month (Harmonica Sunbeam will host a Maplewood Drag Dance Party Friday). Use this link to view the event schedule.
The Blue Sphere Jazz Quartet will perform as the main act this coming Saturday. Here is a video of them playing in Maplewood the previous year. They’ll take the stage in Maplewood Village at 6 o’clock.
The show will start at 6 p.m. on the following Saturday, July 2. Linda and the Love Tones.
The Springfield Avenue Gazebo will host the Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture’s monthly Friday concert series starting the next month.
Autumn Jones, a native of Maplewood, begins it on July 15.
