Man Who Died in Light-Rail Collision ID’d as 50-year-old from St. Paul

A 50-year-old man from St. Paul was recognized Thursday as the man who died after being struck by a Green Line train.

According to a Metro Transit spokesman, Jason L’Heureux was bicycle at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday when a westbound train collided with him at the pedestrian crossing at the east end of the Raymond Avenue station in St. Paul.

The Metro Transit police investigation is still underway.
