According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 25-year-old man was killed near St. Paul early on Saturday after he crashed into a barrier, got out of his car, crossed a highway, and was hit by oncoming traffic.
At Minnesota 280 and Interstate 94, St. Paul resident Donald Scott Hutton crashed into the median. He was slammed to the ground when he raced across a traffic lane and into the side of a passing car, according to the State Patrol. Hutton was hit by many automobiles.
Before being transported to a hospital, Hutton was declared dead.
The State Patrol is looking into it.
