In southwest Florida, a guy was taken into custody after he was allegedly seen on surveillance footage damaging kiosks and automobiles.
Lee County Sheriff’s officers were summoned to a Taco Bell in Fort Myers on Sunday after the store’s management claimed that a guy had entered the restaurant and was smashing the kiosks with a piece of plywood while muttering to himself, as reported by NBC station WBBH-TV.
Two employees exited the restaurant to find that the guy, later identified as 41-year-old Jonathan Caballero, had damaged their vehicles, one with a smashed window and the other with a broken tail light. The combined repair costs for the two vehicles came to around $600.
At a separate fast-food business in the area, deputies arrested Caballero and formally charged him with criminal damage, criminal mischief, and fraud.
