After a pursuit and rollover incident in southwest Miami-Dade on Wednesday, authorities claimed they were able to apprehend four individuals wanted for mail theft.
The intersection of Southwest 137th Avenue and 145th Street is where the collision occurred.
After smashing through a house’s wall, the car was seen in the footage lying on its roof.
Four of the passengers were identified by Miami-Dade Police as persons of interest in connection with mail thefts.
After breaking over the barriers, they reportedly took off running but were apprehended shortly thereafter.
“There was what sounded like an explosion, and she ran out, looking quite scared. “We assumed there were deaths but happily there weren’t,” one neighbor added.
According to the police, the suspects’ car had previously collided with a white Toyota Corolla, but nobody was hurt in that collision.
Police have claimed that there are four suspects, two males and two women, but have not revealed their identities.
At this time, no other details were available.
