Five More Charged With Murder in Liverpool Internet Cafe Attack Case

An 18-year-old guy was killed after being attacked at a city center internet cafe. Four men and a 14-year-old youngster have been charged with his murder.

On the evening of April 16, Michael Toohey was assaulted on London Road in Liverpool.

He died from a variety of injuries, according to a post-mortem study.

On Friday, Kirkby residents Jack Knox, 19, David Shelley, 25, Callum Hewell, 21, and Matthew Wynn, 25, are scheduled to appear in court at Wirral Magistrates’ Court.

The 14-year-old was scheduled to appear at Liverpool Youth Court on Thursday but cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Previously, three other individuals were accused of killing Mr. Toohey.

On November 14, Kieron Williams, 28, of no fixed address, Anthony Williams, 31, of Walton, and Michael Williams, 24, of Liverpool are scheduled to appear at Liverpool Crown Court.
