FA and Everton Investigate Incident After Brazilian Throws Smoke Flare

Richarlison tossed a smoke flare back into the Goodison Park stands after his crucial winner against Chelsea, and the Football Association and Everton will both investigate.

Everton, who are in danger of relegation, triumphed 1-0 thanks to the forward’s goal on 46 minutes.

Richarlison rejoiced before tossing the gadget, which had been thrown onto the pitch from the Gwladys Street End, into an empty area.

Everton stated, “We will look at the problem.”

“Richarlison was aiming to toss it out of the ground, as far as we’re concerned.”

The Football Association approached Liverpool player Harvey Elliott in February after he handled a red flare during the team’s Carabao Cup triumph at Wembley.

Pyrotechnics are prohibited in English football venues.
