A Port St. Lucie man’s corpse that had been missing since early Monday was discovered in a canal not far from his house.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, William Beaver, 83, had Alzheimer’s disease. Just before six in the morning, he was last saw at his residence on Mediterranean Boulevard.
Units from both the road and the air were sent to look for Beaver. Just before 11 a.m., the sheriff’s office reported that his corpse had been discovered in the canal.
There was no more information available right away.
