At milepost 364 in Fremont County, a two-vehicle injury collision on U.S. Highway 20 is being looked into by the Idaho State Police.
The accident happened at roughly 5 o’clock. August 6th, Saturday.
According to police accounts, the driver of a Subaru Legacy was moving west when he crossed the center line and hit a semi-truck on US-20 that was moving east.
A man driver, age 23, a male passenger, age 23, a male passenger, age 22, a male passenger, age 21, and a male passenger, age 20, all of Burley, were in the Subaru.
The three passengers in the back were not wearing seatbelts, but the driver and front passenger were. The Subaru’s whole crew was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Their health status is unclear.
The semi-operator truck’s was a Pennsylvania man in his 57s. He was restrained by his seatbelt and wasn’t moved.
For around two hours, all lanes were closed in both directions while emergency personnel attempted to help the occupants and clean up the site.
