4 Injured in Shooting at Little League Football Game in Lauderdale Lakes

Investigators have discovered a fourth victim after bullets were fired at a sports event at a high school in Lauderdale Lakes, wounding three individuals.

The two male teenagers and two male adults suffered non-life-threatening wounds, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday, just before 8:30 p.m., Boyd Anderson High School got a report concerning a gunshot that occurred during a minor league football game.

Three persons with gunshot wounds were discovered on the site by BSO officers and Fire Rescue. According to BSO, they were sent to a neighboring hospital.

Anthaney Harris, a parent and community member, stated, “I believed it was fireworks since they had been blowing pyrotechnics all weekend, but then cops and sirens began going back and forth.”

Detectives from the BSO’s violent crimes and crime scene section were informed and are looking into the incident’s circumstances.
