Following a boat explosion at a marina in northeast Miami-Dade on Sunday morning, two persons were sent to the hospital and two more sustained injuries, according to authorities.
The Pelican Harbor Marina, which is situated at 1275 Northeast 79th Street in North Bay Village, is where the explosion happened.
Two of the wounded, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, were attended to on the spot. As a trauma alert, two more individuals were sent to a nearby hospital.
Crews from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation and Miami-Dade Marine Patrol are also on the site, however it is unknown what triggered the explosion.
