After a scuffle on a bus in Liverpool, three lads were detained after a 14-year-old kid was stabbed.
At 19:10 BST on Wednesday, police were dispatched to Campbell Square in the city center after allegations of a stabbing.
The child is believed to have been attacked after getting off the number 80 bus following an earlier altercation with a group of teenagers, according to Merseyside Police.
Three teenagers from Anfield, Litherland, and Crosby, ages 15, 15, and 17, have been detained.
Anfield’s 15-year-old has been detained on suspicion of assault. On suspicion of affray, the two other individuals were apprehended.
The 14-year-old child was stabbed in the armpit but did not require medical care, according to authorities.
A knife that was thought to have been used in the attack has been found.
Insp. Det Tony Roberts requested that any witnesses call the police.
