Looking at Indian Mounds Regional Park differently


Marjorie Otto/Review The native community and the City of St. Paul are working together on a cultural landscape study of Indian Mounds Regional Park with the goal of creating a shared vision that respects the sacredness of the land. As part of the project, a series of community engagement meetings are being held so community members can learn from each other about the significance of the park.

Vikings back Kaposia center’s ninja course

Free shuttles offered at Washington County Fair


submitted photo • Lake Elmo Rotarians Jackie and Ray Marshall posed by the club’s free shuttles before a volunteer shift at a past Washington County Fair. This year the shuttles will be offered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, through Sunday, Aug 5.

For the past eight years or so, the Lake Elmo Rotary Club has provided a free shuttle service at the Washington County Fair for those with mobility issues.

Local food shelf receives generous donation from Rotary Clubs

The Lake Elmo Rotary Club presented the Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf a $21,700 check March 7, to help the nonprofit purchase new refrigerators and freezers.
