NEWSBRIEF: Rose Parade street closings

Motorists, plan ahead for the evening of the Rose Parade on Monday, June 24. Certain roads along the parade route will be closed that day beginning at 4:30 p.m. Parade planners encourage motorists to take alternate routes to avoid congestion.  

• No access to Woodhill Drive between Hamline and Lexington avenues begins at 4 p.m.

• Woodhill from Hamline to Civic Center Drive will close at 4:30 p.m.

• County Road B2 from Hamline to Oxford Street will close at 4:30 p.m.

• County Road C from Hamline to Victoria Street will close at 5 p.m.

• Lexington from Woodhill to Grandview Avenue will close at 5 p.m.

Parade volunteers and police officers will staff the route to direct traffic should an emergency arise.

The Rose Parade is one of the biggest in the Twin Cities. It begins at 6:15 p.m. on County Road B2 near Roseville Area High School and will end at approximately 9 p.m. at the Roseville Skating Center.
