Farmers’ markets will be at the following locations:

• South St. Paul

12th Avenue and Southview Boulevard

Wednesdays, June 19 through Sept. 25, 2 to 6 p.m.

• Inver Grove Heights

8055 Barbara Ave.

Sundays, June 16 through Oct. 13, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Shop for fresh and locally grown fruits, vegetables, seasoning, salsa, honey, flowers and more at the St. Paul Farmers Market events. They are free to attend, but the vendors will charge for their items. More information www.stpaulfarmersmarket.com.

The South St. Paul Farmers’ Market has been selected as a pilot project, which is being called Thinking Green in South St. Paul. Single-use plastic bags will not be the go-to bags from the farmers. Instead, patrons are asked to bring re-usable bags, baskets or containers for their purchases. There’ll be a Thinking Green booth at the market with information.
