Lauderdale

Traffic stops

Once again it was all pulling people over on Larpenteur Avenue in Lauderdale April 8-14. Perhaps the most interesting case came after dark April 10 involving a 24-year-old who was stopped on Larpenteur Avenue at Malvern Street and was arrested and cited for driving with a suspended license. The officer must have taken pity on the man, who was only warned about his speeding and lack of headlight use.

Burglary

Police came and set up a perimeter, and Mounds View PD sent over a K9 unit, but ultimately there was no intruder found, though there were signs of forced entry on the back door. Nothing appeared to be missing, but someone had rummaged through the house; police pulled fingerprints off a mirror.
