Players sought for New Brighton cribbage tournament

Two-player teams are sought for a cribbage tournament on Sunday, April 28, from 5:30 to 9:15 p.m. at Adagio’s Pizza Factory in New Brighton. Food and beverages are provided and there will be silent auction items. The New Brighton Lions Club and Amy Wake State Farm Insurance Agent are presenting sponsors. 

The first place two-person team will receive trophies and gift cards valued at $40 each. A pre-tournament social and the seating of the teams takes place from 5:30 to 6 p.m. The card playing goes from 6 to 9 p.m. and the award presentation will conclude by 9:15 p.m.

The cost is a $40 per person partially tax-deductible donation to PeaceMaker Minnesota, a nonprofit organization that helps schools to reduce bullying and teach students positive relational skills.
