NEWSBRIEF: Fairview opens two new clinics and a home medical equipment showroom in Maplewood

Fairview Health Services has added a pediatric therapy clinic, an orthotics and prosthetics clinic, and a home medical equipment showroom to its HealthEast Clinic and Specialty Center in Maplewood. These additions allow area residents to receive more services in their community, according to a press release, which “significantly increases” convenience.

The pediatric therapy clinic has a variety of treatments to help with delayed development, feeding issues, sensory disorders, gross and fine motor issues, and speech and language disorders. To make an appointment, call 612-273-6228.

The orthotics and prosthetics clinic provides products and services such as custom orthotics, bracing, prosthetic devices, custom compression garments, post-mastectomy products, and head-reshaping helmets for infants with plagiocephaly — a flattening of the back of an infant’s head.  To make an appointment, call 651-683-7050.

Fairview’s Home Medical Equipment Showroom in Maplewood has an extensive array of merchandise including oxygen equipment and supplies, sleep therapy equipment, compression garments, bathroom assist items, ambulatory aids like four-wheeled walkers, lift chairs, breast pumps and accessories, and more. Walk-ins are welcome, but those who wish to make an appointment can call 651-683-7020.

The new clinics and home medical equipment showroom are located at the HealthEast Clinic and Specialty Center, located on 2945 Hazelwood St. in Maplewood. Their suites are Pediatric Therapy Clinic Suite 320, Home Medical Equipment, Suite 315, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Suite 320.
