NEWSBRIEF: Meals on Wheels volunteers needed

Roseville Area Meals on Wheels delivers 19,000 meals per year, and you can be part of the team. There is flexibility in scheduling, and a large serving of appreciation from the 100 older adults in the Roseville area who receive Meals on Wheels. 

Current openings include a team of two packers on some Fridays from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. Roseville Area Meals on Wheels also needs substitute volunteer drivers. Call the program at 651-604-3524 to sign up to be a volunteer.      

Meals on Wheels operates out of the Fairview Community Center at 1910 County Road B in Roseville, and meals are prepared on site. Meal delivery is from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Meals are delivered in Roseville, Little Canada, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, and parts of Shoreview, Arden Hills, Maplewood and the Como Park neighborhood of St. Paul.
