Tartan High School student earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT

Adam Wersonske, who attends Tartan High School, earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. According to School District 622, only one out of 10,000 students receives this score, and less than 20 students in Minnesota usually accomplish this.

Wersonske is an active student involved in several extracurricular activities, including: Math Team, Knowledge Bowl, baseball and National Honor Society. His dream college is the University of MN-Twin Cities where he plans to major in computer science.

Wersonske said that when he found out about his perfect ACT score, he was surprised. His Mom, not so much, as she knew he would do well. Wersonske contributes his successful ACT score to the hard work he put into studying which involved taking an ACT prep course, and studying a lot over his spring break. In addition, Wersonske said he is thankful to have had such great teachers who have pushed him to do well academically.
