FAITH: A retreat for men

The Benedictine Center in Maplewood is offering a two-day retreat called “Men’s Retreat: Becoming Transformed.” It will be held Thursday, May 31, through Friday, June 1. The $100 cost includes lodging and meals. For a single room the cost is $150.

“This retreat will help men explore the transforming nature of the Christian journey, while considering their unique perspectives and the issues they’re facing in this changing world,” explains Sam Rahberg, director of the Benedictine Center.

The retreat will be led by Dr. Steve Arnold, who is a deacon, spiritual director and chaplain at Crest View Senior Communities. His doctoral dissertation is on adult education and gerontology focused on empowering adults to learn and live more satisfying lives.
