Southern Pecan Yam Bake

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 Tablespoons fl our

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

2 Tablespoons margarine or butter

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1 (17 oz.) can yams, drained

1 (16 oz.) can peach slices, drained

1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows



Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine sugar, fl our and nutmeg. Cut in margarine or butter until coarse crumbs form.

Add nuts. 

Arrange well-drained yams and peaches in a

1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with sugar mix.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows on top and return to oven until marshmallows are lightly browned.
