Canadian Days 2016

Canadian Days celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, running July 29-31 in Little Canada, mostly in Spooner Park. All photos were shot July 30. The Macgillivray Pipe Band has come down from Thunder Bay, Canada, to play nearly every year at the festival. The annual pancake breakfast was successful — people who had Canadian Days buttons got free food. Mykaila Hollman, 9, took a look at the face painting she got while enjoying the festivities. The Kiddie Parade made its way around Spooner Park. Marisol Basurtol Poferl, 12, buffed up her dad’s 1967 Cutlass during the Classic Car Show.  Pontoons took to the water for the annual Gervais Lake Boat Parade.
