Mustangs take fifth at state Alpine meet

Mounds View High School's girls Alpine ski team participated in its second consecutive state meet last week and came away with a fifth-place finish. The Mustangs scored 122 points, leaving them 50 back of state champion Minnetonka and 2.5 behind fourth-place Mankato West.

Juliana Damberg was Mounds View's top individual performer. Her two-run combined time of 1:20.98 left her in 14th place.

Mounds Viewís other state participants included Emily Nash (22nd place), Sarah Mackay (56th), Madeline Bratager (61st), Courtney Kosiak (66th) and Hana Guli (76th).
