Work begins on crucial Mendota Heights fire station remodel

City plans trail work at Indian Mounds Regional Park


The City of St. Paul is planning to improve and alter trails at Indian Mounds Regional Park. Some trails will be removed out of cultural sensitivity due to their proximity to burial mounds. This project differs from the Cultural Landscape Study, a collaboration between the city and indigenous community that’s working to create a more culturally sensitive plan for the park. South St. Paul man sentenced again for fatal stabbing

A South St. Paul man was sentenced May 13 for the 2015 killing of his girlfriend.

Thomas Michael Luby was sentenced to 28 years in prison for stabbing to death his girlfriend, 45-year-old Kelly Ann Anderson, in August 2015.

The South St. Paul City Council approved an interim ordinance May 6 that temporarily prohibits applications for development in an area referred to as the Hardman Triangle, located off Concord Street.
